We’re always excited to hear from our customers, so we were delighted recently to have the chance to have a chat with Little Kickers, who regular use the facilities at Hazelwick School.
Our mini Q+A was kindly answered by Phil Banister who represents Little Kickers across West Sussex, Brighton and Kent. Read on below to find out more about the world’s biggest and most successful pre-school football academy!

Q) Please tell us a little bit about Little Kickers classes
Little Kickers classes have been designed so that the session, although using football, more importantly provides children with a fun, positive introduction to sport and development.
At all ages our ethos of play not push and development through fun, excitement & inclusion of all children is the key to our classes. It has also been proven that children who enjoy organised physical activity from a young age are substantially more likely to remain active throughout their adolescence & into adulthood.
All our coaching staff are highly experienced and DBS checked. Also important to note is that our classes run throughout the year and are not limited to term time only.

We also run children’s special Football Parties, taking the trouble out of organising party entertainment; making a special birthday experience for the smallest or biggest of parties for both boys & girls who like their football.
Q) How long have Little Kickers been working with Schools Plus?
We’ve been working together since October 2016, so coming up four years now!
Q) Do your classes change throughout the age groups at all?
With the children from 18 months to preschool, the focus is about development through fun rather than a ‘football class’. Our games are imaginative where they must outwit the bears to capture the fruit, go on train journeys to the seaside, sail on a pirate ship, defend castles & protect their footballs from shark-infested seas, all of which involve them running about, stretching, jumping, getting active!
With children from 5yrs to 7yrs the focus is about the development of their football skills but inclusion is an absolute and fun is always the crucial ingredient. All our games are imaginative & involve the children running about, stretching, jumping & keeping fit!

Q) Where do you see the Little Kickers and Schools Plus partnership going in the future?
Hopefully more and more of our school sessions being managed by you!
Q) Where do you run your classes?
Our classes run at Hazelwick School every Sunday morning. We have a variety of times and classes for each different age group, 18 months up to 7 years.
Q) Why do you think Little Kickers and School Plus work so well ?
The ease of communication and simplicity of the booking process!
Q) What are Little Kickers goals for the future?
To bring fun, educational sessions to children whilst keeping them fit, active and healthy!

Thanks to Little Kickers for stopping by and speaking to us. We love having this positive and friendly group in at Hazelwick School each week.
