Who are you and what is your role at Schools Plus?
I’m Krista Torrens, Sales & Marketing Assistant.
How long have you been with Schools Plus?
In February, I will have been with Schools Plus for two years!
Which three words would you pick to best describe Schools Plus?
Ambitious, Friendly, Productive.
How has Schools Plus helped you grow professionally?
During my time I have had a couple of roles within the company. I began as a customer contact centre operative where I got to learn new skills in handling customer enquiries of different kinds. This helped me to develop my organisational skills whilst under time pressure, as we had lots of customers phoning in.
I recently moved to work in the sales and marketing team which has presented new challenges and opportunities to grow whilst helping new and existing customers to develop their relationships with us as a company.
What is your biggest achievement since working for Schools Plus?
Being part of an effective team that produces more revenue for schools.
What do you think the next year looks like for Schools Plus?
I think the company will grow during the next year and continue going from strength to strength!
What are the values that drive you?
Being good with people, Positive outlook, Creativity.
Do you have a favourite quote or mantra that motivates you?

What are you working toward in your free time?
I am working towards possibly putting my artwork in an exhibition!
