Welcome back to another entry to our Ask Us Anything series!

Who are you and what is your role at Schools Plus?
My name is Dave Maher and I am a Venue Manager.
What is an activity that you enjoy doing in your spare time away from work?
I tend to go on deep dives about different subjects. At the moment I am reading and learning about topography.
How long have you worked for Schools Plus?
Very close to 3 years!
If you were stranded on a desert island and could only bring 3 things, what would you choose to bring and why?
A machete for the coconuts, broadband access (This is a cheat but it’s a dream question, so it is allowed) and a nice bottle of Jim Bean.
What is your favourite part about working for Schools Plus?
I love to help our customers access school facilities for their various community groups. It gives me a sense of pride that we can help our customers and school partners.
You are a crayon in the box what colour would you be and why?
Red – Its always there and you can depend on it.
Can you describe a typical working day for you?
Shockingly, there is no typical working day. It as wide ranging to having customer meetings to getting a call from the police saying there is a cow loose on school grounds.
What’s your favourite film and why?
Not really a film person, I like to laugh and laugh hard and Me, Myself and Irene does that to me every time.
What do you think the future holds for Schools Plus?
Great things are on the horizon, we have excellence at all levels and as long as we carry on this path we will go from strength to strength!
Our thanks to Dave for joining us on the blog today. We hope you enjoyed hearing his answers, keep checking back for more staff interviews in the future!
