- Who are you and what is your role at Schools Plus?
My name is Liz Heath and I am a Venue Manager
- What is an activity that you enjoy doing in your spare time away from work?
I live on a beautiful country estate in Northamptonshire and enjoy spending time out in the woods and fields with my two gorgeous dogs.
- How long have you worked for Schools Plus?
I have been with Schools Plus for 3 years this July 2019.
- If you were stranded on a desert island and could only bring 3 things, what would you choose to bring and why?
I would bring a knife, flint to make a fire and my glasses so I can see!
- What is your favourite part about working for Schools Plus?
I love the flexibility the role offers in terms of working hours. It is great to no longer have to be travelling during morning rush hour and being able to plan my week according to what is happening in my schools. No two days are ever the same!
- You are a crayon in the box what colour would you be and why?
I would choose to be a green crayon as it reflects the colour of nature to me
- Can you describe a typical working day for you?
I normally do my admin in the mornings and will continue to check emails /take calls throughout the day. During the evening I will either be visiting a site or dealing with any issues that arise whilst our customers are using the facilities. On a working day, I am available from 0830 until around 2230.
- What’s your favourite film and why?
I don’t really have a favourite film. I am however, a big David Attenborough fan and I recently really enjoyed the Dynasties series which was incredible.
- What do you think the future holds for Schools Plus?
We have exciting times ahead! The business has grown so much since I joined, and I think the next three years will see some growth in the number of schools we are operating in, along with a big focus on maximising sales and making even more money for schools.
