- Who are you and what is your role at Schools Plus?
My name is Sam Kalirai and I am a Multi-Site Venue Manager.
- How long have you worked for Schools Plus?
Approximately 6 Years!
- What is an activity that you enjoy doing in your spare time away from work?
I love to travel to new places…very recently I visited San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas which was an amazing experience.
- If you were stranded on a desert island and could only bring 3 things, what would you choose to bring and why?
- Fishing net
- Hunting knife
- Raft (so I could escape)
- What is your favourite part about working for Schools Plus?
My favourite part about working for Schools Plus is the flexibility. This gives me the opportunity to plan my working week around my personal life which is great. I also have the pleasure of working alongside great and supportive teams.
- You are a crayon in the box what colour would you be and why?
Blue – this symbolises loyalty and confidence.
- Can you describe a typical working day for you?
All working days are different but on average I spend most days dealing with sales enquiries, liaising with our clients and discussing important matters with my team leads. I also pop into my sites to see the teams, work on shift and to conduct viewings.
- What’s your favourite film and why?
I have more than one…Goodfellas, Casino, Godfather and lots more. If you haven’t figured I love a good gangster film.
- What do you think the future holds for Schools Plus?
I think the future for Schools Plus is a bright one as we are continuously going from strength to strength. With a great reputation among our estate of Schools and further Schools coming on board…the sky is the limit.
