We’re delighted to announce that we have partnered with East Barnet School and are now officially welcoming bookings into this amazing North London venue!
We’re so excited for the local community to start taking advantage of the range of the fantastic facilities here, now available to them on evenings, weekends and school holidays.
East Barnet School has a long and successful history behind it, dating back to first opening in 1937. It goes without saying that a great deal has changed since then, including the school’s location!
In 2007, East Barnet School were granted initial approval and funding to start plans to move to a brand-new home. This was finally realised in 2010 when the current state of the art school site was formally opened.
We’d like to use the rest of the blog to take you on a mini ‘tour’ of the facilities now available to hire here. Let’s start things off with the ultra-impressive Sports Hall. This multi-functional sporting centre has equipment and line markings available to host Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Five a-side Football, Netball and more!
If you wanted a venue for community gatherings or events, then the open plan Auditorium would be ideal. This room can accommodate up to 400 guests and has spotlights, speakers, curtains, projectors and bleacher seating available to use! If you needed even more space, than this room can be extended to include the Dining Room next door.
Moving outside briefly to talk about two sporting venues available to hire, first the 3G Pitch which can be hired either full size (11 v 11) or split into three smaller (7 v 7) pitches. Next, the Multi Use Games Area which has both Netball and Tennis courts available to hire!
A facility that we think will become very popular at East Barnet School is the Dance Studio. This lino floored large studio space comes complete with a mirrored wall, with a ballet barre, and an electronic whiteboard. The space would be perfect for regular dance and fitness classes.
East Barnet School have kindly provided the use of their classrooms. These classrooms can host a variety of bookings including tuition classes, language courses, workshops, smaller business meetings, music lessons, worship groups and more!
