We’d like to officially introduce you to our latest partner school; St Mark’s Academy in Mitcham, South London! We’re thrilled to now be providing the local community here access to this popular Church of England secondary school and sixth form on evenings, weekends and school holidays.
There are some truly impressive facilities now available for hire here and we’d like to use the rest of this blog to take you through them! Let’s start the tour off with The Main Hall. This bright and spacious venue can accommodate a remarkable 350 guests, making it an ideal space for worship groups, community gatherings and performances.
Another facility suitable for smaller performances would be the Drama Studio. This neatly presented, blacked out studio space is suitable for up to 60 guests and comes complete with curtains, a projector, screen and speakers. A great room for Dance, Fitness and Martial Arts Classes.
If you needed more space for your active booking, then the Sports Hall would be ideal! This multi-functional hall is suitable for Netball, Cricket, Five a-side Football, Badminton and more. The Hall can comfortably host up to 250 people and has sprung wooden flooring and a Basketball court with scoreboard and timer.
More of a classic alternative to the Sports Hall is the Gymnasium. This sporting venue has an old school feel to it with hardwood flooring but also contains the modern addition of mirrors alongside one wall! Great for Fitness and Dance classes were an instructor would benefit from the mirrors.
If you wanted to host a regular tuition, study or workshop group then there is a Conference Room, with a large boardroom table that would be great for group meetings and both informal and formal interviews.
