We are so excited to be announcing another School to the Schools Plus estate, Laureate Academy in Hemel Hempstead. The School is part of the Future Academies Trust and joins us as part of our ongoing partnership with the trust and schools they have including; Pimlico Academy and Phoenix Academy.
The school already has business in but we are really looking forward to managing these lettings and opening the site up for further business.
Laureate Academy is home to a huge range of fantastic facilities that could be the perfect place for a vast array of bookings, events and activities. The multi-use Sports Hall is a great place to start, with four badminton courts and a basketball pitch complete with drop down hoops and a scoreboard. There are also football, handball and futsal goals, cricket nets and ample space for netball and other sporting activities.
Continuing inside there are two large halls that would be ideal for events, gatherings and larger bookings. The Main Hall is complete with a raised stage area, curtains and a projector that can accommodate up to 200 people. Known to the school as the Laureate Hall this has access to table tennis tables and a mirrored wall making it a great space for fitness classes that can hold up to 150 people.
Like most schools Laureate has ample classrooms available for use that come with access to the electronic whiteboard and projector. Classrooms can be perfect for hobby groups, tuition, small meetings and worship.
There are three separate Drama Studios available for booking all slightly different; ranging in size from 100 to 30 people with varying flooring and black out options. These rooms are brilliant versatile spaces that could be used for a whole range of bookings.
Heading outside at the school there are some impressive facilities including a; 3G Pitch, Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) and various Grass Pitches including a Junior Rugby Pitch.
There are two MUGA courts available; the first having two tennis courts and two netball courts and the second a slightly larger space has three netball courts and three tennis courts.
The 3G Pitch is a flexible pitch with floodlights that can be kept as a full size 11v11 pitch or three 7 a side pitches making it ideally suited for football bookings such as team training, league nights or children’s birthday parties.
We are so looking forward to opening up these spaces more and we just know that this site is going to thrive offering the facilities to the local community.
