Our School Spotlight series returns for another preview of a standout venue in the Schools Plus catalogue. This time we are looking around Mossbourne Victoria Park Academy and showing you the range of fantastic facilities available for hire here.
Mossbourne Victoria Park Academy is located just outside Victoria Park in Hackney, London and is still a relatively new academy, having first opened in 2014. They are the second site to be named under the ‘Mossbourne Academy’ umbrella, following on from Mossbourne Community Academy who Schools Plus also proudly work with.
We’ll start our tour with one of the most popular facilities at the academy – the Sports Hall. This venue is frequently busy as it is truly a multi functional sporting hub, with line markings and equipment available to play Indoor Football, Badminton and Basketball among others. The large Hall can accommodate up to 100 people making it a great venue for sports club nights or events such as children’s birthday parties.
We now move to the Main Hall, an even larger facility available for booking at Mossbourne Victoria Park Academy. This impressive and spacious venue can comfortably accommodate up to 300 people which, coupled with the tiered seating available, make this a great facility to book for events such as business conferences, worship events and general community gatherings.
Although much smaller than the two facilities we’ve looked at so far, the Drama Studio is just as busy. This intimate venue is ideal for all performing art bookings from Dance Classes to Theatre Rehearsals. This sleek studio space can also be used to run fitness classes.
Classrooms are the backbone of every school and we’re delighted that Mossbourne Victoria Park Academy allows the local community the chance to use theirs. There are a range of classrooms available here, in a host of shape and sizes. Each classroom is very versatile and can be great for events such as tuition, meetings, language schools and worship groups.
The Dining Hall is another large facility, which can comfortably accommodate up to 150 people, available for hire at Mossbourne Victoria Park Academy. This well-presented space is ideal for use as a break out space to go alongside other bookings in the academy or can be utilise as a large space for general community gatherings.
