Keeping up a strong Social Media presence has become a top priority for businesses today. Schools Plus recognises the importance of being available, active and engaging across all digital platforms.
In this post we’re going to run through our aims and objectives on each of our social channels, as well as our goals for the future and possible expansion plans. We’ll start with still the UK’s most popular social network, Facebook!

We’re proud of our thriving Facebook account and the community we keep on there. We’re happy with our smaller, more engaged audience and we’ve deliberately stayed away from trying to attract unrealistically huge numbers of followers to our account. We like having people around who truly care as much as we do about the good work we do.
Our aims on Facebook include posting key company updates, sharing content from our customers and introducing members of our brilliant staff. We love to include as many personal posts as possible, as this is what we feel is important and works best on Facebook.
Goals for the future include growing the page at the manageable rate we see now and adding more personal stories wherever we can.

Instagram has soared in popularity over the last five years, becoming the UK’s second most used social media platform. Schools Plus noticed this recent surge and we decided to relaunch our page, with a face-lift and a surge of new content, at the start of 2019.
What we love about operating on Instagram is the amount of our customers we can see happily using our venues. Instagram is by far the most popular place for our customers to share on-site content and we’re always happy when they tag us in their posts and stories.

The Schools Plus twitter account enjoys the largest number of followers amongst our social media accounts and with that comes a certain responsibility to always post the most engaging and relevant content we can again.
Unique to Twitter is the fact that our clients are very active here, including our partner schools and the education trusts that we work closely with. We love seeing their school day updates and news. This platform also allows us to keep up to date with relevant stories from the education sector.
Our objectives for Twitter include staying engaged with our clients as well promoting a lot of the great work done in the world of ‘active living’ by leading companies that share our goal to see the members of the public have more healthy lifestyles, such as Sport England and UK Active.

The Schools Plus Youtube channel is our newest social media platform and one that we are excited to see grow as we add more content to the channel.
Right now, we are in the process of adding more and more Virtual Tour videos to our channel. These videos give you quick tours of our partner schools, giving you a visual guide to the facilities available there.
In the future we may look to add different videos to the channel, such as company promotional videos and videos from events at our schools,
We hope you enjoyed this recap of what Schools Plus aims to do across our Social Media channels. Make sure you stay up to date by following each of our accounts!
