The Schools Plus core mission is to expertly manage community lettings allowing us to not only open the sites for the local and wider community but to generate an additional flexible revenue stream. This source of extra income can be used to enrich the education funding more teachers and better facilities for the students.
Behind that is a host of other values, goals and objectives many of which we won’t be able to achieve alone. Part of the next step for Schools Plus is to branch out via partnerships and memberships with customers, service providers and industry thought leaders.
As of the 1st July 2019 we have joined ukactive, who’s long standing vision is to get more people, more active, more often.
They are committed to improving the health of the nation through promoting active lifestyles. By bringing partners and members together they are providing a platform for the likeminded to come together offering support, industry expertise and conversation with a range of people who believe in the same thing.
Schools Plus is a huge advocate of healthy and active living and a vast portion of our facility hire comes from physical activities being booked into sports halls, dance studios, 3G pitches, tennis courts and activity studios. We provide the solution to facilities being disused and allow access all year round during evenings, weekends and school holidays.
We will be working with ukactive to continue to promote physical activity via the booking and use of our schools which not only will create options for healthy living but allow schools to use the additional revenue to better their sites.
ukactive work in the centre of the UK active lifestyle sector and many of their current partners and members will be of great interest to Schools Plus, our customers and our clients. Their options for networking days and involvement in campaigns, projects and schemes will allow us to liaise with an inner circle who will help us push forward with our future, which is looking big!
